Her first acting role on a television program was on NBC's legal drama Law & Order in 1999. Other series in which Meester has appeared include Surface, Entourage, CSI: Miami, 8 Simple Rules, 24, 7th Heaven, and House (Lines in the Sand and Informed Consent). TRIVIA: Has an older brother, Douglas Meester. Her surname "Meester" is Dutch for "master" or "teacher". She has worked with famous photographer Sofia Coppola. She enjoys singing, and even sang in the movie "Drive Thru" 
.She is naturally blonde but dyed her hair brown for the role of Blair Waldorf for TV show "Gossip Girl". Named one of People Magazines' 100 Most Beautiful in 2008.
